it shouldn't be seen as unusual to not have a car

A third of people in So'ton don't have access to a car. I've never had a car & never want one. I can use car clubs or hire, but cycling, bus & train nearly always get me where I want to be. I've had a wide variety of bike trailers etc & still use cargo bike or tandem to transport my children to the station etc. Safer streets are needed. If anything else caused 5 deaths a day & 80 serious injuries, something more would be done. We need safe streets. Health, NHS costs, air quality, safety...
